It's the best place to wheel. I'll be invading Kyle's birthday moab trip in November. You should come. We can rent a cabin for a week.

Is there any kind of rv/toy hauler camping out there, or tenting? Moab is on the list. Or I can take the 40' flatbed with up to 3 rigs on it.

LMAO. I can take 2 backup trucks for myself.

For a trip like that, I would definitely take the backup motor and a hoist just in case.

You bet. In the town their is rv parking or anywhere outside. Id post up in the canyon right on the river if I had an rv.

This would have to be a trip at least a year in the making to get my group to be able to plan for it.

Do it! You won't regret it. Been wheeling so long and am mad at myself for not going sooner.

Hells Yes. Moab is scheduled for the 14th - 18th of November this year. We usually rent a giant ass house. Those who want to camp surely can. Any and all are invited (4x4 and sliders REQURIED otherwise you will really fuck up your truck in a hurry), We break out into smaller groups on the trails to keep the groups moving otherwise its a calico cluster fuck again. That way those who want to do the mild trails can go do those and those who wanna beat the shit outta their trucks can join me on the tough trails.

Tons of camp grounds (KOA Style) and some the road that are dry camp sites that can fit any size rig. Camping out there has become pretty crazy and tough to find an open spot.

the house i usually rent out there has enough parking for all the rigs and trailers. like 20+ trucks, tow rigs, side by sides, and trailers.

Spare parts are always a good idea for Moab. Tons of grip from the slick rock. Mostly axles get broken. There is a Napa store in down but small on hand inventory.

Half of me is stoked to go wheeling again tomorrow and the other half of me is like 'wtf are you doing, you just spent 4 days wheeling' haha. Still recovering a bit....probably from the 24/7 beer drinking

Yeah I didn't get to scratch that itch...that would've been a fun 4x4 rock climbing trail by the 1st camp. Wish I had taken pics of it when we walked it

Went up yesterday morning and ran white mountain and started having serious engine troubles right at the last section....basically clutch dump/bump start about 2 feet at a time up the worst section for about 40 yards, it was fun lol
After that little setback we found camp and decided not to run gold today. This morning We went down towards burns canyon and completed heartbrake ridge/Pontiac sluice on a whim with a few of the extra credit lines and exited via 62.

Sorry didn’t check in here, would’ve been cool to add one more experienced rig to the group.
The newbs I brought did really well only had to spot them a few times
