No worries man, sorry to hear about your motor troubles but glad you guys got home okay. I'm currently at the top of Gold Mountain as I type this...trying to upload a photo but it's taking forever. Got some cool videos to show later though

Fuck yeah lol. Scratched it alright...along with my sliders, front and t-case skid got bashed in getting to this point. Stopped for lunch at the top. Think we just have one more obstacle left then it's downhill. Passed an FJ with a flat tire at the beginning and the rest of his group wanted to carry on but didn't have any armor...curious to see how they end up

You end up passing a group of Jeeps about 10 deep? Saw them staging as I drove by around 11am

Passed a ton of Jeeps but not a group that large. We're at the Big Bear brewery now. Right after I made that last post we went to finish the trail and went up the last big obstacle, which I remember being easier than it was this time lol. Put a nice gouge in my rear diff and scuffed the hell out of the drain plug, I'm hoping I didn't fuck it up to where I can't get it off. Need to get one of those beefy BAMF diff skids that he only makes once in a blue moon...

33s are next, 35s are for after I retire her as a DD and can afford to break my steering rack, CVs, tie rods, and diffs/gears regularly like the rest of you 35'ers lol

That doesn't save you. It puts you on the harder trails and the damage continues. I'll have to post some pics of what Moab did to me.lmao

Oh man. You'll never get @SlipperyTaco On a trail. He is the king of mall crawlers. Built a truck that will never get used. Believe i have tried a million times. At least we get Me,you,Denny, Chris, and Alex. Am I missing somebody from the old group?

I'm down. I probably need a couple weeks to get my truck back in order though. Ran it hard in Utah. It was very difficult to keep up with @tetten . His truck is a beast.

Gold Mountain yesterday, 2nd obstacle (the one that took Alex, Ryan from Accutune and I an hour to get over last time in the snow and dark)...much easier when it wasn't covered in ice.

Of course I took the 'easy' line, if you go further right there's a harder one

Gold Mountain 1st obstacle...commonly referred to as "The Shelf" for obvious reasons (giant rock shelf that spans across the trail and must be climbed to go forward). Again, my line is the easier line but there are harder ones that I'd imagine you would need to be front locked for. Particularly the far right side around the tree, not sure if you can see it well in the video but Alex climbed that line last time.

Tagged my Budbilt and t-case skid hard here, can't see it in the video because it cuts off but you can hear it, lol. Hard when the only person capable of spotting you is doing the video and not very good at spotting yet. Gonna have to get the front skid straightened out somehow now

The rock garden...not a hard spot at all but a cool video showing the garden and how it sounds to drive across (like broken glass). Just past here a ways is the last main obstacle that I didn't get video of unfortunately, I rushed through it because huge Jeep came up behind me and that's where I tagged my rear diff.
