Managed to internally break an ABS line on @twheat40 truck while messing with his suspension. When he started his truck it threw all sorts of code, and I immediately knew what it had to be.

We pulled both lines and tested continuity and the drivers side passed while the passenger side failed. Cut off both ends and soldered, heat shrunk, and taped all connections, and covered the thing in braided loom.

Just buttoned it back up, fired up the truck and all lights gone! Fuck yeah.

Apparently boogie with the YouTube channel got banned for a month seeing if they posted his ban in there but it's not.

 

They didn’t. Did you see the reasoning? It was on his YouTube channel. Guess he was sending messages to all new members introducing himself, and including links to the stuff he was selling.

 

Shoulda just stuck with sending newds!

 

No just what he said on his youtube where they asked him to stop and he did but they banned him anyway. Something about linking his Amazon affiliate link.

 

I just sub'd to the ban thread. I never really paid much attention to that thread. But, some of the reasons are funny as f*ck.

I saw him being banned, but didn't see reason nor explanation. For a moment I figured he got banned by I am root and they forgot to unban him

 

Why did I am root get banned?

I am root was April Fools prank. He banned bunch of guys including most Mods.
Since Tacomaholic was last seen on April 1st, it made sense at the time

Only thing I would have done differently is make the drawer out of plywood and not 2x12s

 

I am going to go over to pop's house and use his table saw and cut a dato in the side pieces of my drawers to slide the bottom into and then glue and screw them. I feel that the bottom resting in a dato the best practice in making drawers and arguably one of the strongest methods.

I think I am going to go with 1/2" for the sides and 3/4" for the bottom to try and save at least some weight. But I am definitely using your recommendation of MDO for everything then painting it.
