Dad has a really nice wood working set up in his garage so any projects that require precision and cool joinery I just go over there. I just don't get him to help it takes him 10 min to make one cut. The scientist in him has him overthinking and being uber precise and persnikity in every little detail. Good for fine furniture making bad for making something quickly.

I like type 3 for stuff that is going to be outside even though it is under the cap but that is just me. I worry about moisture ruining my joints.

he was putting trim around the front door on one of our flips. it took him so long that I did 4 windows in the time it took him to do the door, and he wasnt even finished. although, his joints were a lot tighter than mine, but I know that my painter is very good

I haven't seen where it is any weaker. I tried pulling a joint apart that I used type 3 with and the wood still broke away around the joint and the joint didn't fail. Now you got me curious I am going to have to read the bottles now. Damnit Joe!

Yeah some things time is $$$. You should watch this guy on youtube from Dallas all he does is trim work I used some of his tips and tricks and I am no longer frustrated with doing trim and my quick and dirty trim work has much tighter joints.

Do Canadian's even know that word. I also speak a lot of yeddish as well or so I am told.

It's like DFW trim or something like that, pretty young guy. Now where my dad would excel if he could get the concepts is in timber framing. I am going to build my housed and do a timber framed home and cut all the joints myself.

Got ya! Good to know I have not noticed any staining but now I'll be on the lookout for it and take that into consideration. Appreciate the info!

Just wait I follow that thread and there are constantly new things up I saw 6 16" F5s on there one time all different colors but that is what a rattle can is for or a powdercoater. I would stick with the same size as you have just hold out for the 16s.

Yeah I suppose. A different style would look silly in the rotation of the spare lol

That's horrible! Same style AND size! Lol. Especially if you planning on five tire rotation ... Sorry I know I'm not helping.
It would make sense to have same looking Wheels, but... I don't think there is a right answer for your question

The right answer is that I shouldn't be a DBag. I should wait till I can get the same size and style Haha.
