    I think I need to push tires up on my upgrade list.

    If any of you ever comes across hankook s1 noble 2 for your daily, wife’s car, whatever. Just don’t. The wet performance is really bad. Crossing the bridge yesterday I couldn’t stay straight. So much so I thought there was 100 mph gusts.

    What are your guys thoughts? I sold my truck over 2 months ago to a local older guy. He just texted me saying the battery is dead (bought it through Costco 1.5 years ago). Told him to bring it back and they will prorate it and he can get a new one. For some reason he doesn’t have a Costco card so he asked if I could exchange it. Would you guys do that?

    He’s a really nice guy and just beat cancer (I have a soft spot for that). Basically spent all his savings to get this truck and paid full price. I’ll probably do it since I could do a Costco run anyways.

    Assuming he’s paying for the new one, I’d do it.

    10/10 times, just a solid thing to do. You’re not in a situation to HAVE to do it, your end has been fulfilled. But - you have an opportunity to do something above and beyond for someone who has been in shoes we all hope to never be in. I would absolutely do it, even if I’m not going to Costco except for that one thing.

    Forsure I would do that for this guy. Keeps your reputation around town solid, and hey, anyone who pays full price for something like a car anymore is a good person to keep close.

    Pretty much making a trip to do it, but we are low on paper towels.

    Haha my wife on the other hand says I shouldn’t. I understand her reasoning since the deal is done but she’s not the of out of your way kind of person unfortunately.

    My fiance would probably be the same way for something like this, but screw that in this case. Won't hurt anything to go exchange for a new battery. Lol.

    The only thing I would say is I have played nice guy before, and some folks take advantage of that. Before you know it, you are putting new tires on the truck for them, changing the oil, etc. etc. Not saying this guy would do that, but it's worth noting.

    Haha right? Won’t be doing any of that as I don’t even have time to do it on my own cars. This is also why I was hoping it would sell to someone far away from me. Out of sight, out of mind.

    Well the deed is done. I still think he owes me $200 as I wasn’t planning on spending that on Costco today.

    Hey @EDDO I think it was you who posted up those awesome battery terminal connectors with multiple studs on each. Do you still have that link?

    @FirstTimeFirstGen
    Turns out I still had the military terminals in my pile of rubble over here, not being used since I relocated my battery (positive never used at all). Yours free if you want them.

    I've had this classic Halliburton Zero case for probably 25 years. I think it's time to use it for something. I think it's 13x18x6.

    Not so much. No winning today in the EDDO garage. Tore this side all apart to replace a centering pin I thought was broken but it was fine. Replacement leaf springs inbound.
