Be curious to see how that trd one works out. Only other guy i know with one is Eric. with the stock pulley he didn't really thing it was worth it. You have a smaller one though..

I need to save that thing..

Which Eric? Also they aren't super common, but the previous owner claims it was pushing about 7lbs. I know the smallest pulley offered pushes almost 10 so it must be slightly bigger than that one, probably a good starting point though.

Definitely agree on instant gratification and the simpler path, would of been crazy to see zane get it done though.

I woulda saved it, but that would just be weird if I started saving photos of fellow tw members to make monte memes :spy:

I got a question for you guys. I want to head to Firestone this week and get my alignment done, was looking at a bunch of alignment threads and they all seem to be written by second gens. With my tc uppers and 285/75 mtr's I get rubbing worse than normal after my last allignment. Second gen guy I was with said I wanted +3Âş castor, what do I really need to keep it from rubbing in the back. I trimmed and hammered the pinch well, the allignment before last I had no real issues. What should I be asking for as far as numbers.

0 total toe, 0 camber (or a little negative), and as much caster as they can possibly dial in (usually around 3)

i know she isnt lol. its a 4.7L tundra engine no forced induction what so ever unless i want to break the crank.

shes refering to a supercharger. she barely knows how to check for air in the tires lol thank god she knows to put unleaded gas and not diesel

    @Supra TT

A dude with a single cab here that just sold his truck had it too and didn't seem impressed either with the stock pulley.

anything + castor is nice. But the more positive castor the more you put the tire into the firewall.

    well she isn't wrong.

But not 100% right. Still takes tweaking and tuning to get it totally squared away and running smooth.

can't twin turbo it without building up the whole motor.

    3” lift. Sway a ways 2.5 on 285 75 16 and much more
I call this mod “clearance loss” lol
Swapped stock drive shaft to a single. Took only 30 minutes to do. Seems to drive better.
Still getting axle warp but not as bad as before. I’ll probably end up marking a traction bar for it later.

i know, and in all fairness. it'll probably cost me about the same motor swap vs supercharger with a 7th injector and extra pulley and whatever else. thats if i had to buy the v8, but i got it for free from a friend who wrecked his tundra. i want the v8 for sure no doubt. but i think the 4.7 as good as it is by itself. theres better options out there for the same job.

Ahh okay, he and I talked about it one time. I suppose we'll see how it goes. I know BigMike's TRD SC was making 5psi super fast with the stock pulley so I'm hoping this littler one gets me to 6-7 quickly. That'll be good enough to satisfy me for a bit.
