Wife asked if I could help plant some trees/brushes in the back yard so I went to Home Depot and picked up over 800lbs of fertilizer, mulch, and top soil. Man did the Red Taco handle the load like a champ. I was driving down the road and it didn't even feel like I had that much weight in the bed. It was as smooth as butter lol.MVIMG_20180407_103553.jpg MVIMG_20180407_103615.jpg

Only had them done for about a month so I can't really speak to longevity.

20x9 +1offset fuel assault wheels, 275/55 r20 Nitto Grapplers G2 on stock suspension. There is a slight rub on the air dam when making a sharp turn on a steep incline. Other than than no rub during normal driving. I may remove the air dam or trim a 1/4" on the lip of the air dam if I choose to keep it on. For now, it doesn't bother me since I know how much to turn the wheel when approaching a steep incline.

"What have I done to my 3rd Gen today ?"

Filled up after a long night shift ended this morning.

It was freezing cold & windy.

Gasshole was really tight and the cap was almost stuck in it.

Awkward moments unfolded.....there in the cold....adjacent pumpers doing their thing....me with a cold-swole cap wedged overly deep in the Gasshole.

A decision had to be made quickly. Blowing hard was the wind.

Do I simply grab hold of the deeply seated cap and wrench it out....or do I give the tether cord a snatch ???? Not sure the actually method I employed.....it was all a blur. Relief had when that thing popped out fairly easily, though....and could get back into my truck and fire up the heat.

Installed some flush mount Rigid 20641 lights in my rear bumper today. Light output is perfect for what I wanted while setting up camp and at times when I might need a little more reverse light.
Wired a switch up in the cab to turn them on along with a switch in the rear passenger side bed cubby door to turn them on also. They do not come on with my reverse lights.
I also installed a 12v plug, volt meter and switch to turn on the light inside the bed on/off all in separate switches.
(Will post pictures of the switch panel door later. It’s ugly right now since my CH4x4 switchs are all mislabeled until my new ones come. I had to steal the switches from my ditch lights, rear camera and grille bar to make sure it all worked, haha!)
Also stuck on the tailgate 3D TACOMA decals as well after 2 and half years of ownership.

Not all the correct switch covers but you get the point. The top right switch turns the Volt Meter on/off. The 12v plug is hot all the time. The “rear camera” switch turns on the interior bed light and the “rear bumper” switch turns the rear bumper LEDs on. I literally could not find anything to use that cubby for so I figured why not turn it into a junction box?

Ever park next to 1st gen tundras? I feel weird walking out of a gas station getting a look from the owner like, why is your Tacoma bigger than my tundra. I don’t think they like it

Installed some flush mount pods in the rear bumper yesterday. Took about 6 hours or so, but very easy to do. Hardest part was probably getting the bumper caps off the truck!

These things look awesome and are extremely bright
