EGR is on the intake manifold.

Anything past 97 usually doesn't have it. The 7th injector goes into where the EGR was on the blower like this:

On the back driver side.

Your truck won't have EGR.

 

Im thinking using it as a rear shock relocate kit. Looks like it would work kinda like solos kit

 

no the kit you linked to have way taller towers. You'd have to modify them a lot to fit.

That and the bend radius is so narrow I don't think you'd get the shocks mounted very well besides vertical and if thats the case you'd rub the bodies constantly.

 

In that case I'm not sure. I'm sure it probably could. I have seem set ups kinda like that in the past .Might just have to do a little bed modification...

My alignment guy is one of my wheeling buddies so he gets it. I hope you have one that will work with you. After I understood what I needed, I decided that I was comfortable allowing roughly 1* neg camber. So I asked my buddy to give me as much caster as he could without going more negative than -1* camber. The sheet I posted was the result. No more rubbing, and my truck drives like it’s on rails with that much caster. I’m pleased.

 

Im emailing them and he said he can make them any length and also not bend it much as he normally does. What is the difference between the way the shock eyelet is mounted on these two does it make a difference. yes I know the first picture is on a front end but wondering relation of shocks eyelet

 

Not today but yesterday I did Gold Mountain solo up in Big Bear, fun trail with some unexpected tough climbs (done this trail several times but seems to get harder and harder with all the traffic it gets). Tagged my rear diff pretty good at the very end, need to get me one of those beefy BAMF diff skids.

Saw you guys were heading up there, next time I will meet up for sure. Got no shocks on the back right now, but that will be remedied by tuesday haha

 

For sure, let me know...Big Bear is usually my go-to local wheeling area in the summer time because it gets to be so hot everywhere else. Miller Jeep trail is opening back up later this month and that one is a lot of fun to do, about as tough as Gold Mountain but longer and way more remote (out in the Frazier park area north of the Grapevine in the Los Pinos mountains). They close it during the winter time because of the snow, which sucks but it's a lot of fun to do in the summer. Gets pretty hot out there though.

 

Does anyone know if the 2005-2014 leaf spring bump stop will fit first Gen? It looks very similar.

 

Im definitely gonna be hitting up big bear more this summer, theres a few options down here but the desert shuts down during the summer, pretty mych done w working on my house so Ill have more time for wheeling.

 

It'll fit just fine, no idea if it bumps or compresses in a way that would be useful to anyone here though.

I wasn’t the welder, I took the photo. That’s Jeff. Jeff gives zero fucks. Haha besides it was just to tack it in place.

Went back into work yesterday and fixed a part of the dust shield that was dragging against the rotor from the spindle gusset being installed. Then prepped and setup where the limit strap mounts should go and had Jeff weld them on. She’s strapped and good to go! Time to start saving for the rear after I buy a new camera lens

Come to think of it, I never even bothered to measure the travel length.

 

Thanks. I can’t keep up with the awesome suspension stuff you guys put together. I just need something to work for my stock rig.

 

Those are nice, I checked them out. But they are nearly 4 times as much as the OEM replacements on eBay. It will be fine for my application.
