Anyone have any of those Bear Flag Defense speedloaders? For those of us in the less fortunate states...

Just wondering how they perform and how reliable they are?

That’s going to be my next firearm purchase as well. You can find them for 3k, or even a hair under if you watch, but they go fast at that price. But, you’ll want a trigger upgrade, Geissele super scar is $400, and probably a good bipod, and there’s all kinds of cool daddy stuff you can get. I’ll have $4000 in mine before the optic.

There’s a website that will build you one, but you have to get three upgrades from then, or an Elcan Spectre Optic. ($2500-$3000), I think you can choose from a couple other optics as well. Their price starts at $3500 for the gun, so you can probably get a better deal elsewhere.

    https://fn57sale.com/product/scar-17/

They are hard on optics too, so you’ll have to get a proven one. That’s a lot to spend on a gun, but man I want one bad.

I want mine to look like this, with the KDG rail and an atlas bipod. Haven’t decided on an optic yet. The Nikon M308 is supposed to be good on them, and it’s only around $500, instead of $1500+ for some of the more pricey options. I’d also like to do one of those 45 degree side optic mounts with an RMR, for close range if I used a longer range optic instead of something like an ACOG. Those Elcan Spectre DR optics are bad ass, but that’s too much for me to go.

upload_2018-4-6_23-24-57.jpgI picked this up last week $249.00 tax included. My new EDC. I like it so far only about 50 rounds through it. Anybody else have one ? How do you like yours?

My dad has one that I’ve shot before. I personally hate the trigger. Feels like it’s about a 20# trigger with a mile of travel before it breaks.

Just finished my first AR build, thinking of just running it as an M4gery for a bit. Anybody got a source for cheap 6.5 grendel ammo?

Kind of surprised to hear they're hard on optics, I was kind of against spending so much on one toy until I actually shot one.

I had the opportunity to fire a 16s which was so light on recoil if it wasn't for the concussive blast I wouldn't have even known it had shot, and the 17s I shot had only slightly more recoil as my 10/22.

The FN's were dead easy to keep on target, my AR jumps a bit and I have to recenter each shot. Accurate fast fire really ain't happening with my AR but those SCARs were dreams to shoot.

After having the first time experience I was sold. I knew exactly where my money was going into in the design.

That's a nice looking SCAR there, I like this "PSG" build.

And think this bullpup is neat but I wouldn't do that to my own.

I don't want to go too crazy with it when I get it, but I will most likely get a handel defense lower that accepts PMags.

I head a while ago that FN may be standardizing the scar to accept AR10 mags but I never found out if they actually changed there design to do so.

I like mine. It does fit in the pocket just right, sometimes it slips down and when you sit down you know its not positioned right, but its really concealable. Only down fall Ive found is the 6rd magazines. I think they have some extensions but I never like them. They might have extra capacity mags now, I havent really looked.

All this talk about FN's. I kick myself periodically for picking up a Sig 556R instead of an FS2000. That Sig was beyond a shadow of a doubt the single worst firearm I have had the displeasure of owning (and I've owned Hi Points, Llamas, and Astras over the years).
