So you are running 750 lb springs with no front plate bumper, winch... That must be unnecessarily rough? Are you planning on adding a lot of weight? I think you are sacrificing a lot of ride quality with that stiff of a spring. You could get by with 650 lb just fine. Whats the reasoning here?

Planning for the future. Waiting on the plate bumper. Honestly.its a little rough but not all that bad. 3rd gen already use a heavier spring than 2nd stock.

@Mobtown Offroad has to finalize their final design and then it'll be on

OK, makes sense. From what I have read 750 are not needed until fully armored, winch, extra batteries... If you are only stepping up to a plate bumper and won't have the additional weight for some time it may be worth swapping in a lighter spring. But if you don't mind... it's your truck. :mudding:

Who ever runs the Border to Border Touring/ORV Route on Facebook confirmed that phase 1, the basic trail from end to end, is now completed. They have already started phase 2, all the off shoots and connecting trails to the mainline. #excitingstuff

How did I miss this? I'd be down for Hyland Park in May! Finals are approaching fast so May would likely be a better option than April for me at least

I'm game for a May meet up at Hyland!

I will ask them on their page but if I remember correctly the next 4-6 months to connect all the adjoining trails. I'm thinking about taking a week off of work in the fall and completing this journey!

The trail network will be sorta a "grant in aid" program where clubs are charged with taking care of chunks. There will be obstacle offshoots from the main trail on lands designated by DNR. They will also be connecting much of the MOIST to connect points further south in the brainard to blackduck area. My buddy was talking about how NoDak is looking at picking up the trail and pushing it west all the way to Montana.... and maybe more on the future.

Figured I would post his here first.

FS:CBI high clearance hidden front receiver (winch mount) for 2012-15 Tacoma. On the truck one summer, no rust or issues. Zero recoveries or winch pulls on it. I'll even throw in the flippy plate mount if I can find it. Replaced because my wonderful spouse wanted an ARB... who was I to argue.

    http://www.cbioffroadfab.com/produc...products/high-clearance-front-receiver-hitch/

Mounting holes opened up because poopy engineering by Toyota. Requires you to cut your stock crush cans and use the flange as a washer plate for more secure fitting.

    New is $374.99 + shipping.

Let's say $260 for a local. I'm in west Bloomington.

    Pm me if interested.

I will be heading to work shortly. Really glad I bought my taco and a good set of A/T's last fall. There is no way I would have even attempt to go to work if I still had my S10.
