Alright guys I have a problem and it’s starting to get worse. I’ve tried everything I know to do and nothing has worked. My front brakes are dragging on my Tacoma and I’ve looked and looked for help and I can’t find anything helpful. Both front brakes are dragging. I believe it is worse on the passenger side because the rotor is starting to warp and have hotspots on that side. I replaced the master cylinder probably 3 months back. I pulled the tires off and greased the guide pins and it still takes 2 hands to spin the hub. Pulled the calipers off and it spun freely. Sometimes my pedal goes straight to the floor and sometimes it’s really tight. I’m out of ideas here and I really need some help as this is my daily.

Replace the calipers. They are seizing up. Time for a brake fluid flush as well.

Thank you for the help. I didn’t know if there was anything else that I needed to look over before replacing my calipers.

You can replace the seals on the caliper pistons. Use search feature to find the thread; I remember a good how-to one.

Both calipers seizing at the same time shortly after a master cylinder job? I don't buy that at all.

That said I have no idea what's wrong. Surely something got messed up during the master cylinder replacement but I don't know what.

OP does your truck pull hard to one side or the other? What if you hit the brakes without your hand on the steering wheel? What if you brake hard, take your hand off the wheel, then release the brakes? (Obviously be careful when trying these things.)

Tried these things. Doesn’t pull. Just currently a huge pain in my ass. They are the OEM calipers with 295k on them though so I’m out of ideas. I have no ABS light or anything. So it can’t be that can it? The MC is also a reman
