Anyone know if the Wheelers Superbumps can be used in the front as well? They only sell them for the rear on 1st gens on their website, but I remember reading in an old thread on TW where they stated that you could make them work on the front as well.

I have a set for the rear but after my trip last week I'm thinking I need better front bumpstops right now more than I do rear ones.

yes you can. Not totally ideal but they do work and do help. Unless they are frozen.

huh, so that kit includes new front bumpstops but they don't sell them separately? Weird but yeah it's really cheap so maybe worth a go...I already tossed my sway bar out 6 months ago when I put in my Kings, hardly noticed it was gone TBH

ah good to know, perfect! Going to try this out this afternoon. Yeah I heard they have issues with coming off the bolt as well sometimes but we'll see, I've heard not so great things about Timbrens so I was hoping I could make these work front and rear.

Im running super bumps front and rear. Rides good..well..i have rear suspension problems but not due to those.

Daystars seemed to stiff to me. I have a set as well and they were so short and stiff I didn't see the difference of them vs stock.

Unless it's freezing outside, the super bumps are great. If they are frozen, not so fun.

Doesn't look like those other hoops will fit that flat bed either.

Id wait till you get the flat bed to see what's happening shock clearance wise.

In this picture that guy has 40s on his truck so the fenders are built for that. I do plan on waiting as the guy said he can make them any length I need them to be. And if I have to change shock length I will

Got more done in preparation for bumper install. Boxed and plated the frame mounts.
Painted the white body that was exposed after removing the stock bumper. Looks much cleaner now than before. Hopefully well have the bumper mounted next Sunday. Hopefully...:goingcrazy:

well that and it looks stout enough...maybe kinda hard to tell..that you might be able to much build the shock mounts off the flat bed.

Well, not so much TO my Tacoma, but FOR my Tacoma - having been off this site since last year, when Microsoft locked me out of my Email service, and at the same time, the two Toyota sites I was on, apparently voided my password.
It took a week to get my Email back, and several months to get back on my other Toyota site.
So somehow, I was finally able to get back on here tonight, which could be very usefull FOR continuing to keep my '96 on the road.

    Happy Motoring, Mark

That I did not think of. I'l have to ask the person that weld it on once I get it. Maybe even the guy I get it from as he welded that
    I don't have a bender or welder so I can't do it
