I need a maintenance day. Unfortunately she wouldn't even make it to G.T's though.

Can you jump start it so you drive it until you get the alternator replaced?

How involved is the rear diff breather mod?
Thinking of buying the arb kit for mod day

Quite easy, I have the same kit. Will need new fittings for diffs to connect new line to if the kit is like mine and didn’t come with them. There are breather mod threads here that indicate what you need.

I'll look into it. Almost might need to change some fluids/oil. Need to call up the dealer and see if i can still buy the care plus package. just below 30k now. rear/front diff is what im worried about.

    Barnwell have any water crossings?

It's super easy. There are two Toyota part numbers you need and some rubber hose.

If it weren’t for buzzard luck, some wouldn’t have any.

The ARB kit only makes sense if you plan on using it for all 3 imo, but unless 3rd gen is different your transfercase and front diff is already taken care of and vented up high in the engine bay anyways. Really all you need is the rear if your worried (the link provided is a kit for the rear if you want to save yourself some time), I never bothered doing mine and dont plan on doing it anytime soon.

Are you wanting the dealer to change diff fluids? If thats all your wanting out of the care plus package I would save your money from the dealer. Diff fluid change is stupid easy, and really you only need to do your rear. I would only suggest doing the front because its factory fluid and with new gears is when you will see the most crap in the fluid, but it could go either way still being good fluid.
