Forgot to mention they threw in fifteen 30 packs of Coors light with the sale, so that pretty much sealed the deal right there. That means I won’t have to go to the liquor store for almost two days.:bananadead:

Guess that explains all three of us smelling it. You were leading.

I was also wondering about looking at my breathers - figured that might have been the source of the smell, even if it was just gasses venting.

Ben check the top not the diff. There is a small 3" piece of tubing thay can split and Crack easily. It's part if the breather.

    Yeah.

If it's never been touch it gets baked from the oil pan and diff. Spilts pretty easily.

I decided that a pump was still a lot better for the front - esp b/c I wanted to slightly over-fill it given my diff drop. Getting a bottle in "just right" was going to be a big mess :).

If the green truck is parked anyway, the pump is only like $7 at HF or $9 in the jungle.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
I did a little digging cause I was unsure of it's compatibility being my ECU is from the green truck which according to it's door sticker was made the first month the Tacoma was ever offered. Turns out according to the TRD supplied install guide it is supported. Unlike the V6 one which only gained support in 97.

what a bunch of fucking idiots. There was like 10 people just videoing on their phones vs yelling to stop.

Also how could you miss the axle not being connected anymore? Was super obvious.

    Instalander fail.

If you watched this video with the sound off you need to back and watch it again with it on. It reminds me of the sound car crushing machines make.

I'm guessing there's more to the story than you can tell in the video. Ubolts look to be broken before the video started, so guessing it was already trashed and they were trying to get it off the trail/to a safe spot. Obviously how they went about doing that was idiotic to say the least. Pulling him with the winch line is a nice touch.

At least he has the amber section of his brobar on for safety.

Also, ubolts always have concerned me. We caught a buddies that were loose just in time once.

I've torqued my new ones at least 4 times here since installing. Each time I get a little bit of a turn on them until they're torqued. I think they could easily loosen up enough to cause enough play to break, or the centering pin to pop out, if you're not paying attention.
