Wish I could have made the Bastrop trip but I had a very productive day around the house instead. Super tired from it and won't be able to make CnC next weekend either I think. If I got a spot going on weekend couples retreat with the wife. @D-Taco thanks again for the assist with the leafblower!

Mine would have been done ages ago if it weren't for my wife. Trying to itemize the expenses for her new business but she has not been expeditious is getting her receipts to me. Big ticket items are done. Might just have to cut my losses and submit it as is.

Doing one of those contracted "static security" jobs down there?

Makes two of us. I've been putting it off the past few months hoping it would just go away.

Every second and forth Saturday of the month I have a standing commitment, so I am never going to make one of these. Bums me out!

For those who were looking for a report on the Yokahama G003's, yesterday at Bastrop was the first long highway time on them and the first real offroad time on them. What I can tell you is that they ride very nice on the road for an E rated Mud Terrain, and are quieter than my previous BFG KO2's. You can hear them, but they aren't what I would call noisy. In fact, I was cruising 75 up I-35 and talking on my phone via Bluetooth, not a problem at all. Offroad, I was very happy with them. Didn't bother to air down yesterday and the one and only place I had any slippage at all was the big hill (now to be known as the giant (or Tundra) killer). :) Pretty good flat faced rock on the hill that was hanging up a lot of folks that took it head on, but the Yokahama's took it on without a problem once I backed up a couple of feet and got a little momentum. All in all, I am very happy with the decision to give them a shot. Long term is yet to be determined.
