    @MOC221_ please correct me if I'm wrong but the list of parameters that Mat gave us was actually for AT. We had to omit some things that we don't have access to on the MT, like trans related stuff

    That's what I assume, since there were some slushbox specific PIDS. Mat didn't actually say it though.

    I think the A/T guys will be fine using that list as is.

    I get far better mileage out of this truck than Toyota claim.

    People need to stop talking about the Otto/Atkinson cycle because they clearly don't understand how it works in this truck. It's done via intake valve timing, you aren't going to suddenly feel the difference.

    I "suddenly feel the difference" pretty much any time I hit 3500 RPM and still accelerating.

    That's VVTI, not the Atkinson/Otto switch, big difference.

    So it is, but it isn't? You DO realize that ''he Atkinson/Otto switch' is performed by changing the VVTI parameters and the intake valve timing right? The 2GR does NOT have a variable crankshaft length to perform a true Atkinson cycle
