I am curious why you are getting into the stock bumps so easily. Almost sounds like not enough spring or dampening. Are those 600# coils on your Kings?

Just realized that Tesla was a P100D, the one that costs $125,000 and goes 0-60 in 2.5 seconds. I drove his once a couple months ago, and god damn that thing accelerates like nobody’s business.

Yep 600lb coils. It only really happens at speed, but if I hit a bump or dip going 20 - 30mph I can really feel the front bump stops, or at least I assume that's what it is. Looking at them I can tell they're hitting by the fresh marks where they make contact.

Ouch, it takes a pretty solid hit to get my truck to bottom the front, requires speed and a large and steep bump, usually only downhill. What kind of weight are you running up front? 650s might be in your future if you have a steel bumper or winch. Not saying they'll stop a massive hit or anything but your shocks are progressively valved so they should be really working to slow down the travel near the end to soften the blow. Is the bumping really hard or just kinda touching it?

I can tell with my stock pulley small changes, but again I am so modded it's so hard to give a good opinion. I didn't want to get the smaller pulley as I heard it requires maybe some mods to the fuel. I got mine for a good deal so I can't complain, but I wish it was better. (where's that ls1 swap?? lol)

Lost my windshield trim to 20 years of sun damage and a freaky windstorm in PA. It's supposed to be decorative anyways, right? RIGHT?! :)

But also changed my engine oil/filter and differential oil, and lubed the driveshaft. I've now almost caught up with all the deferred maintenance! :)

Lolwut. Imagine a Tacoma that can outrun a Lamborghini Aventador, that's what would happen if you put the Tesla drivetrain into it.

i made the headlights. im about 4g canadian into the build. that includes all the small stuff, ecu, piggyback, progressive meth kit, fuel pump, etc...

the turbo itself is only half the cost. the supporting mods to use it are where the money adds up

Somewhere I read someone posted break pads don't need to be bedded in. That was just for racing applications. Something to that effect. Toyota disagrees with that train of thought.
    (so does General Motors FWIW)

They also don't break in diffs, but that's not a reasonable argument to not break in your new diff. Just because the OEM pads don't require bedding in, doesn't mean aftermarket pads won't as well.
