Yeah, like a check for maybe $0.49 after attorney fees.

Class action suits like this are great for the attorneys, usually not so much for the plaintiffs.

I second that. I received a check a few years back from Dish Network overcharging people. By the time it trickled down to me, the check was exactly $1.98. Somehow, I don't think One dollar, and ninety eight cents covered my overcharges.

 

The US Department of Justice filed the suit.
They are government employees working at a salaried rate.

Maybe your discontention should be aimed at the individuals who tried to rip off a group of individuals because of the color of their skin rather than people whos careers are dedicated to holding such people accountable for their wrongdoings.

I received a check for $1,300 10yrs later from Citizens Bank that i never knew was coming.

 

I stopped reading right here "after an investigation that began in April 2013"...

I got a voucher from ticketbastard/live nation for unlawful fees charged for tickets. I’ve been to over 100 shows and they gave me $8.00 towards a ticket of THEIR choice!
