Just ordered. Anyone know how this does with towing? Should i keep my shift sense pro for towing tune or ditch it cause this tune takes care of it?

Nearly Any vehichle can run E85 your ecu needs to be adjusted to spray more fuel through in injectors though. And cold starts tend to be hard. Gaskets are safe. I was jk about running it though

you can't use E85 with the tune.

I am already aware of and have the cold temp surge fixed in the next update
there will be a list of what is updated in the next update

Haven't been active on here the last few days, but am working on several things.

God I hope it’s something soon. This thread is going to shit.
I use to be able to come here and read about the tune or work with others on any issues that cropped up.
    Now it’s just random bullshit.

    Ok there bud.

I didn’t know OVTune had volunteer employees. Maybe you can go back to your actual job that pays you money now.

Get rid of the SSP. The tune completely changes things and the SSP may end up making it drive worse because the SSP shift points were based off the stock tune. The OVTune completely changes the driving characteristics throughout the entire rev range, so the SSP might end up holding the shift at moment that doesn't make sense anymore. Keep in mind, I'm not sure of this because I sold my SSP well before I installed this tune.

If you want to tow, SSP wouldn't help with that either. Instead, you can just engage ECT when you have to tow just like you would do with the stock tune.

Joke's on you, I'm unemployed. Full time student and disability pays the bills lol

You can go ahead and calm down. I jokingly quoted to you what people say to me when I get grouchy. And news flash, nobody actually cares about your little rant here. Nothing will change, the thread will still continue to be full of BS, welcome to the internet.

Hey now! I care...... ok not really . Wonder when that update is dropping. Bigger question, why has it always been such a secret when it will be released?

Never really thought about that. But looking back ‘updates’ have been very vague and delayed purposley it seems. Maybe competition? Who knows. Does it really matter? Eh

If the updates had much content, this thread would explode as would his inbox. Plus if he runs into issues getting something to work that he said would be in an update, the mob is going to go after him. Easier to just not say anything until its finalized.

SSP user here for last 15k miles. I’ve been running the 1.03 87 tune for a few weeks now and am very pleased with it overall, but I’m not ready to part with the SSP just yet. The tune still allows upshifts to 4th and 5th a bit too early for my liking sometimes. Im making myself drive in “D” and have gotten used to it for the most part, but I’m keeping the SSP just to have another shifting option. I’m also waiting to see if the shift points of the tune get some refinement in the next update before deciding to keep/ditch the SSP.

Btw, the SSP really works well with the tune....the TC lockup is quicker in s-mode, so that paired with the programmed shift points of SSP make for a great drive!
