    "An effective burnish cycle to seat the friction materials into the opposing rotor and drum surfaces requires approximately 200 stops. The 200 stops are consistent with the burnish procedure outlined in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards FMVSS 105 and FMVSS 135. 200 stops may not be practical for many repair shops. Therefore, we recommend the following burnish procedure:"

    200 stops would effectively be like not bedding them in and just driving.

    I know on 2nd and 3rd gens you have to notch it a little, but it looks more like he set Ray Charles loose with the air powered sawzall

    I think those might be 2.5s, there was a big hullabaloo in the 2nd gen threads when they read the Icon install sheet and it had such naughty words as "cut" and "notch". They were bashing Icon for designing something that required cutting 1cm of metal off their precious truck frame. Little do they know shocks aren't really custom made for their purpose Icon like everyone else just reuses parts from their designs that fit the application closest. Plenty of reasons to bash Icons, but that one just seemed so stupid, new truck owners go off on weird things.

    ...but then they have no qualms with chopping a ton of metal off of their cab mounts to fit larger tires, haha.

    Yeah, the cab mount placement has ever been a wonder to me. It is so close on second and third gens, and it really doesn't need much to support it. I see no issue cutting it either, hell if I needed to on mine I'd do it. The part they cut out and reweld is barely necessary.

    I just got the code P0756. Google says it’s the shift solenoid. I don’t really have any experience with that. Can someone’s provide info?

    Well that's the second shift solenoid which is used for engaging gears 3 and 4 if I'm not mistaken, and it says it is stuck off, so in theory it just needs a new shift solenoid or there is something physically jamming it. But as usual it could be low fluid or bad wiring too. Maybe @Jerry311SD has an idea?
