Yeah I did drink water and lookout all stock, so not sure if this is some off chute. Not sure why but when they initially where pulling him back, why weren’t his wheels spinning at all?

That and hungry valley are the only local ohv areas for you guys in LA. Never been to any of those places. Only drove by it. Sucks that all the moderate trails are getting clogged.

We have Cleghorn, Pilot Rock and Big Bear too (although I guess those are technically SB county trails) but yeah, it sucks that Rowher is getting so crowded these days. Best time to go now is during the week.

There's also Drinkwater Flats right across from Rowher, it's a 4x4 trail with some good technical spots to play around in. Just found another trail out there called the "House Trail" recently, @oni06 and I cruised down it a ways but I'd be curious to see where it leads to. Drinkwater is a lot of fun and really only popular with dirt bikes, I've only seen it crowded with trucks when Rowher is closed down. I hope it stays that way though because it's not as fun to go to Rowher anymore

Need MJT to open back up soon so we have another one to go too...don't see too many of the "Rowher crowd" on MJT because they'd be forced to use their armor and might get their RTT hung up on something.

I wanna camp at the base of MJT/Lockwood again once it opens up in a few weeks if anyone else is down, just throwing it out there early.

I think he meant LA county which pretty much just leaves Rowher/Drinkwater, Gorman (MJT, Lockwood, etc.) and I think Azusa OHV park where all the rednecks go to play in the mud, lol. The Angeles Forest in LA county doesn't offer too many OHV options compared to San Bernardino County.

That giant mud pit draws all kinds of interesting folks, lol. I went there with @stvstoy a little over a year ago and we saw an old Subaru Outback running through that mud pit with a home made snorkel made out of PVC pipe and duct tape. Must have worked well for him because in order to get into that park, you had to cross a 4ft deep or so water crossing.

I actually haven't explored Azusa OHV much but it didn't seem like there was a whole lot more to do there than the mud pit and a few small trails that all circle back to the main area.

This. I've been thinking the same thing while watching the IG videos. This proves that offroading is not for everyone. the is the direct result of the, "Buy bolt on parts, have dealer install them and you can go do any trail out there" mentality. god. learn how to work on your own truck before you get yourself in these types of situations. or at least know how to pick up the back end of a truck safely with a high lift.

    morons. all of them.
