Nothing wrong with it. I personally like having doors for side access. Seems in really good shape. Mine was somewhat beat but for $500 what do you want.

Some things to consider
-can it support weight on the top (if your going to load it)
-how am I going to get stuff at the back (side doors or bedslide or just crawling in)


You may be able to get away with a white contractor cap. Some come with the racks already. May not be the look your going for though.

Air pressure for the Coopers, I know you dont run them anymore @tacoma16 but you have experience with them so

David Freiburger put out a video last month about running Cooper S/T Maxx's on his jeep. I know they are a different size, but same tire really.

8 PSI off road is where he runs them, with out bead locks. Leads me to believe I can go lower than I had planned. He says his jeep weights 4000 lbs how he drives it daily, my truck is roughly 4500 lbs id say. I can probably get getting closer to that 15 PSI you speak of @tacoma16

I ran as low as 15 with my previous E-rated KBros, so I am positively sure you can get down to 15 without problems. Even with my P-rated tires I can go down to 15 without problems.

I was running e-rated coopers and I have been as low as 12. I was over 6500lbs though with me and Karoline in it. I played it on the safe side. Daily I was like 35-40psi on all 4 corners and rotated every 5k km (most of the time)

With the weight I didn’t want to blow a bead so I played it safe.

Holy shit. My heart hurts. I almost cried. I'm having heart palpitations. Any explanation as to wtf happened?

 

Apparently did not tighten the I bolts.

 

Well.... Beefier ubolts just got pushed to number 1 on the upgrade list.

 

I think (based on comments) that the guy just installed a lift, and when they went to pull the guy out, instead of securing the axle someway they just pulled him out ripping everything out. The shocks and driveshaft already went but now everything else. Could have strapped the axle or something.

 

Makes no sense; why didnt someone stop this. Sucks though.

From what I could gather, ubolts snapped or were loose and they didn't take everyone's advice to secure the axle. What I don't get is why the front is locked and why they were surprised to have steering.

 

Honestly I have no idea. Just seems like precautions could have been taken I guess. Don’t want to assume but seems like better actions could have been taken

Looking at it again it makes moron sense. So, u bolts are MIA. Seems like they figured if you hold the brakes and let the rear just roll it should keep tension on the drive shaft.

So I was getting a wobble at brake and decided to take the wheel off and look. Turns out the fuckin rebuilt caliper seized exactly 2 months outside warranty. What do you guys recommend for a replacement? The one that seized is a reman from partsource.

 

I just finished watching haha what made them tow with the wheels locked like that?
