Lots of excitement this week - but so far the deliveries aren't working out.

My winch was supposed to arrive today, but they couldn't find the house (new neighborhood - doesn't show up on all maps) I gave them some directions and I guess they will try again tomorrow.

Skids went to wrong address. They will be re-routed - won't be here today as planned but as long as they are here this week it's all good.

Bumper delivery tomorrow is making me nervous - talked to them earlier and she seemed unsure due to the fact that they thought it was a residential address and it's a business address. Idk. Hopefully it all shows up so it can get installed this weekend!

These people are stressing me out!!!!

we gotta get a hand with that bumper... you're not gonna want to lift it up with a winch in there too

Man! That blows. Just give them my address on the winch and I will get it to you.

Use the winch to life the bumper up??? While the winch is mounted...

    Perfect!

I could use mine to hoist it but we have nothing to winch to or hang a snatch block from in our short ceiling garage

Use a jack to lift/hold it in place?

Thats what wood and or card board are for. Gotta protect it until it gets scratched on the trails!

I guess it depends on the jack and what you have to use between it and the bumper. Wouldnt be easy but probably better than trying to hold it with only 2 people. At least if you could balance it with 1 person holding it while the other gets 2 bolts started.

It will mount up too high for a jack plus someone has to balance on both sides and someone has to work the jack... three people can mount it easier by hand lol

I was thinking you could balance it while @MellyMel jacks it. :anonymous:

I do agree it would be easier and safer with 3 people.

I'm not gonna risk fucking up her bumper. I don't need another reason for her to give me shit.

Totally understandable. I would only use that method as a last option after exhausting all effort of finding help.
