Yeah, longer wheel base. Having said that, I don't notice my DCLB being a problem in terms of turning, and I drive around NYC often. The only issue is tight parking lots.. I just back it in, problem solved.

Any man can ride a Harley but not all men can ride a scooter (too afraid of being seen on it).

If I could get a DC long bed with a Manual transmission I'd trade in my new truck today.

Yup, same here. I can’t actually figure out why it’s not an option, what would keep them from making that configuration?

image.jpg Having owned a double cab short bed for 16 years, I come to realize that whenever I brought 4x8 sheets of drywalls and plywood, I wished I had a long bed. Although it was maybe a few times a year, the inconvience of the short bed was too much. I am more happy now that I got a DCLB. So did my friend. He can still fit his quad although the its a bit tight. I on the other hand fill it with gravel, sand, lumber, drywall, granite composite sheets, kayaks, SUP, and more.

Long bed ALL the way. It's why I had to go with a Sport. In Canada, you can't get the Off Road with the double cab and long bed. The short beds look neat, but they don't seem usable. I just put a canopy on my long bed and I still want more room.

Personally I would have chosen inferno red/orange. But I haven't seen that color on any long bed and we have all the trucks here in Los Angeles. The largest dealer in the US is in El Monte said he's never seen an inferno on a long bed either.

If I had the extra cash I’d buy a manual transmission and pay the dealer to swap out the auto, then I would have to spend more money on removing all the accessories that’s unique to the auto to get the truck close to factory manual specs...Just don’t have that kind of extra cash or all the tools to do it myself..oh well. Maybe 4th Gen will have a DCLB 6M.

Any man who parks his truck in the garage should have his man card revoked regardless of where he parks his scooter.

I have a terrible feeling Toyota won't even have any Manual transmissions available on the 4th Gen.

A regular cab 8' would look really nice. Like a more modern Tundra 1st Gen Regular Cab.

Hey man. My employer parks 100k+ commercial beasts of burden that are abused everyday of their service lives inside large industrial building shaped garages all across the country. What do you have to say about that?

8’ beds are cool as shit. Not the greatest off road, but nothing like hauling anything you want around.

This whole "man card" thing, probably not even worth the paper it's printed on.

    But you go girl......
