I ended up buying them from another member who was selling. He gave me a great offer as I was somewhat local and made a drive to scoop em up.

 

This hurts so much to watch...

 

That’s an OME “heavy duty” set from @HeadStrong Off-Road got the Struts pre assembled, with a spacer on the drivers side to level it side to side. I’m super happy with it. Love the look and i think it rides better (stiffer). I’m very happy with the install and it was super simple to do. Me and two buddies had it done in 2 hours flat.

 

Installed a Prinsu rack on my ARE CX shell to go along my cab rack.

 

It looks like he was riding his brakes when that happened. Not a good idea. That would really suck. Feel for the guy regardless of mistakes...

 

Now you need to take those lights off the car next to it and mount on your taco...lol

 

I wonder if that truck had lift blocks on the rear? Just a thought....

Yes and it’s doing just what I need it to and I have been very happy with it. I get spacers both wheels and coil overs are not ideal but they are giving me the ability to adjust my height with out having my shocks cranked way up just to keep it level and keep my wheels from rubbing. Haven’t had an issue off road either not really sure what the spacer would screw up expect for the studs breaking.

 

Convince yourself all you want... not the right way to do things. But sometimes people like to just find out the hard way.

 

I doubt it, but I don't think properly installed blocks would be any concern.

 

Checked his Instagram. No blocks and had HD leafs.

they definitely add extra stress to all the components but if they are on right you can beat on them pretty well before failure. This is all user error.

 

I guess but I have found nothing saying why it’s so wrong. I get the wheel spacers are a risk of breaking with heavy off roading but nothing on spacers. I just wanted to keep a level ride and full adjustability of my coils.

 

Either really crappy u-bolts or not on right. Check out the pic of his frame shock mount though if you can find it. I'm leaning toward the latter based on that.
