This still sounds like you are running out of spring. Either that or valving.

Which coils do you have on your kings? Are you heavy upfront? Full skids, bumper and winch?

 

You'd want a very short bump. Like 1.5'' which im not sure you can get. They make shorties for 3rd gens now though

Plus hydros on the LCAs are the least ideal way to run bumps. You bump the last like 3'' of travel which sucks. Not even ideal for LT setups. I don't think it would be an improvement in overall ride quality.

I've seen this setup. Though it was a LC 200 though.

Looks like the wheeler front bumps for us is the same bump as the back ones they sell, just without the large bracket is this correct?

 

No the ones some folks run are different.

I am fairly certain the front bumps vs the rear are a different compound making one softer than the other..but I can't remember which ones are softer..

 

Yeah it got me thinking as it is something on the list, and not too expensive. I couldn't find em on the wheelers site. I may have missed em. Couldn't seem to find the daystar ones either I saw mentioned on here before todays shenanigans.

 

Wheelers doesn't sell them for 1st gens. Gotta get them from the 2nd gen section on their site.

there are those that run them unmodified and some who just trim them a bit as well.

 

Looks like trimming em and a shim are the right way to do it. got any of the shim material left hahah it had been a while since I read igor's build. I remember reading that as soon as I hit the link

Yep, don't have a planer, but my miter saw will cut that shit

edit will cut monte's pre planed shim material

Coils are 3.0-14-600’s
Not crazy heavy in the front although the truck is kind of a tank.. no belly skids, tube bumper and winch with synthetic rope. I was still having this issue pre winch install..
