I’m not sure what stock measurements are. My truck already had a spacer lift when I bought it and was 23” HTF. Even though I have approx 250lbs of armor I should sit higher with a 1/2” top spacer.

Yeah that's true, I missed that part. Sway bar delete is only other thing thats different than most other people who have installed, but that shouldn't be under tension and creating lift while sitting. I took mine off but didn't do any measurements before I put it back on. I'm also without extra spacer.

Unless 250lbs does make a difference with these 600lb coils.

Does anyone have, or know where I can find a broken down parts list for this suspension kit? Like..... part number just for the shock, and spring, and rear shock, and ect ect...

I would think 250lbs would make a big difference, considering you've already got the weight of the truck on it.

It’s possible IDK, I guess I’ll see how a larger spacer does next weekend. I see coilovers in my future. On a side note my wife has family in Grants and Albuquerque. We visit about twice a year. I’ve wheeled at Rio Puerco and will be in Grants for a graduation on memorial weekend. We plan on camping in the Zuni’s the day after the graduation and burying some meat. Maybe we can join on a NM run sometime.

You likely need a spacer that preloads the coil if that’s not what you are doing already. There is an aftermarket set from Toytec: If you are just adding spacers above the coilover, you may not get the added lift you are hoping for and could run into issues if you don’t also get longer bump stops. My $0.02.

I’ve seen those, but people say adding a top spacer doesn't affect the ride as much as a preload spacer?

With your added weight a little preload likely wouldn’t hurt the ride much and will help get your lift back. Similar principle to the threaded coil overs. Another option would be to look for the Baja springs, I think they are 650’s vs. the 600’s on the Pro’s.

Thx, but since I have the 1-1/8” top spacer on order I’ll wait and see how they do. If I’m not happy with that I’ll look at heavier coils or just wait until coilovers are in my budget.

If you find heavier coils, please post the link here, please! I'm going to go with the Toytec preload spacer if springs aren't available.

Eibach has them in 650lb and 700lb.

Has anyone tried to put the FJ kit on their Tacoma? Part number for it is PTR13-35140. I've done a bit of research and know the FJ guys swap for Tacoma suspension all the time, but I'm wondering if it would also work the other way around and fit the Tacoma.

A few threads up, I asked for some specs on the Tacoma kit to try and compare... I do know the spring in the FJ kit is a 14x3 spring and is 600lb, I know the shocks themselves are the same make, I don't know if they are valved differently, and I do not know the overall length of them, and compressed length. I know the bushing is different, but is an easy fix and swap. I can only assume they are the same length? I would think they would have made the model number different? I dunno...

Anyone who has a better knowledge, chime in... I say this because the FJ kit is also on closeout, and may be beneficial for the guys like myself that missed out on the Tacoma kit.

    Just a thought.

Finishing the fronts this week. I'm following the Toyota install directions. It's fairly easy. I've seen some real hack installations on YouTube where they remove the tie rod end, etc...I don't recommend that approach. Toyota guide is the way to go. You can find the PDF on this thread.

Another tip...the nuts on top of the front shocks have a large washer and crush washer. Don't loose the large washer

Correction- the washer and lock washer were from my leveling kit.

So as I was on the interstate today for two hours one way...I thought about this kit...Some people change out the UCA...Which brings up the question...Is there a different factory UCA for the Pro?

I don't think the Tacoma Pros have different UCA. Their fox suspension are nice but not the height/lift... still low to be an inch higher than the OR...

Finally got done with my install, I left the OL in, added the 1/4” HS spacer for the Taco lean and tackled the ECGS while I was at it. Doing the ECGS bushing was the most difficult/time consuming part everything else was fairly simple @Rob Daman install video was a huge help.

Like everyone says the ride is firmer but better, soaks up the bumps a lot better and less nose dive and body roll. Drove around for a bit now it’s getting the alignment done.
