Good to hear! I have owned quite a few Jeeps over the years (never a JK) with varying degrees of success, but I can easily say that I have loved the Tacoma much more. I also agree with you that the Jeep definitely has its market, and I remember the sayings about them being money pits as well. I had an 83 CJ7 when I lived in CA several years ago; the previous owner had lifted it without addressing the caster angle up front...drove like a broken shopping cart at any speed above 50 mph before I was able to fix it. Scared the shit out of me for a few days for sure!

Anyone follow motogp? If so do you think Marquez get a race suspension at COTA?

Check out my build thread (Beginning of Money Pit)
Ive got an ome full kit (887s and dakar hd leafs) i have factory ucas.

I attribute my rougher ride to e rated tires and high psi. Most people forget that when the speak about roughly riding. Psi and tires rating.

I have been driving my truck almost 100 miles every day 5 days a week. It rides well.

Id say do the lift even if it doesnt solve your issue. Get rid of the wheel spacers and youll be gtg

    A thing or two...
Have you looked on RockAuto? They have lots of parts for good prices. Moog and AC Delco make decent parts. The tool I picked up for pressing out my u-joints will work on ball joints if you need to borrow it.

Break out the heat gun, or 255s.
But seriously try to hit the fender well with the heat gun and push it out a little.

I had an 81 cj7 with the 283, what a sweet ride that was.

Do you think I will encounter issues with 1.25" spacers on 2nd gen OR wheels with 265/75/16s? I'm scared now, Stephen…

Part of me wants those OR struts, but I would have to use the sketchy spring compressor to take my spacer out and put them in there. You down for that @fatfurious2?

It might, I think it depends on the truck and tires. I thought about spacers then read of a few people who rubbed. I’d rather now deal with rubbing for 265s haha

I dont blame you there. Those ones you rent from the auto stores are very sketchy looking. I saw them used once to assemble some OME coils to the OME shocks. Watching those threaded rods bend with the pressure, no thanks. I stayed far away. I wouldve paid the extra hundred bucks or whatever it is to have them pre-assembled.
