Got my girl her tactipup collar finally. Fully velcro collar for all my patch attaching desires. It's a well built collar!

Sort of dog related: fried the motor in our vacuum today and need a new one. Suggestions for pet vacs? Fried 2 bissell “pet” models in the last few years so won’t return to that brand again lol. Damn this husky fur

Maybe try finding a Kirby Generation 3 or 4. I have both. Built well, good runtime. Seems like it would make a good dedicated dog vac. Probably find a nice used one with all the attachments for under $100.

I have a shark. So far it's lasted a lot longer than any Bissell/Hoover/eureka I've had

I have a 35 year old Electrolux classic cannister vac we bought new in the early 80s.... had to replace the hose twice, but otherwise it just keeps on suckin', and the bags, while small, are very neat and don't leak when you're changing them.

You could most likely use a shop vac with a turbo brush head too.

I've been looking at the Shark Rotator n572 and the Dyson Pet. Both those get really good reviews for pet hair. They are expensive but my dog sheds so much no normal vacuum is going to last.

My Shark has been through 4 households. Was my moms, she gave to me when I moved into a 3700sqft house with some buddies, then to my girlfriends condo, and now to our home we bought.
I'll buy Sharks until I die. Like others have said, change the filters and clean the brush once in a while.

The lift away is nice for stairs, other than that no real reason to spring for it imo.

My older guy with the floppy ears is going blind. His retinas are detatching from the back of his eyeballs. I call him the broken retina boy and my mom punches me every time hahaha. 7083F5D9-A4CE-4545-BAB8-E7311B325F27.jpg 7690364A-14EB-49B9-9FD5-17171EA408D6.jpg

For the few that know me and others that have heard me talk about her and our other 4 legged kids over the years. . .

Our Xena the Warrior Princess, Toy Manchester Terrier, lost her battle with life today at nearly 17.

That 3 mile drive to the vet was QUITE long and yet not nearly long enough . . .

    Oct 6 2001 - Apr 9th 2018 RIP Sweetie!

How can you not take me home? Of course, she was my 3rd and I'm already looking for a 4th. Amazing and somewhat rare dogs.

    IMG_0641.jpg

Doing her most favorite thing in the world . . .

    IMG_0642.jpg

Treto, our Boxer, not known for his gentleness, even knew something was wrong in recent days . . . he nudged her a couple of times trying to get her to go play but then just laid down beside her and I was lucky to get the shot.

    IMG_1135.jpg

And, since I've been dealing with my own health issues at home lately, we had our time to say goodbye. Blessed because not everyone does . . .
