All leaf packs can be bastardized (leafs added or removed). With Dakars they just make it a point to include that aspect in their marketing.

OME sells the extra Dakar leaves separately.

He should buy it then immediately get rid of that hideous camper shell. I would be generous enough to come pick it up so he wouldn't even need to take it to the dump or anything. :D

Beautiful truck, not sure what it is worth but has to be more than $30k.

Bought my 2014 TRD Offroad for $31K out the door. Add in another $5K for the supercharger and another $3.5K for the Baja package, $500 for the TRD exhaust and you are starting at $40K out the door. $35K is not unreasonable but you cannot buy the supercharger new and the extended warranties add value as well. 2014 was not the last year you could add the supercharger, as it could be added to the 2015 model year as well. It wouldn't be horrible to buy it at the asking price but you should be able to negotiate the price down at least a little bit. Good news is that most of the well sought after options are already on the truck.

Edit: It is a good value, especially if you like the 2nd Gen style better than the third Gen and especially considering what the 3rd Gen Tacomas are selling for and they cannot come with a supercharger.

^^ that's a solid assessment. I'd offer 33k and see what happens. Seems fair. But as stated, 35k probably isn't unreasonable.

Anyone need a set of the Toytec front lift spacers for a pro? I also have the toytec add a leaf with u bolts, and carrier bearing shim kit. All brand new never removed from the box. I also have a set of wheelers super bumpstops and 1” blocks with u bolts. Bought all of this and then sold my pro. Message me if anyone is interested.

    Thanks
    Jon

From what I can tell in the pictures alone is that it'll need new tires. Not a big deal I guess... Gonna go see it and offer 30k if it's all good.

If it doesn't work out, I have a pretty rad truck for sale too. ;) No supercharger, however.

I added a Wheelers AAL to mine and it cured the nose up and leveled out the truck, not to mention was great at the extra weight I was carrying at the time. Cheap experiment either way...

Did any of you adjust your headlights after changing the lift front or back?

FWIW, I paid $33K out the door for my used 2015 TRD Pro with 20K miles. You can argue the value of the 2nd gen Bajas and Pros all day, but I was willing to pay for that specific truck I wanted after looking at 3rd gens and not wanting to go that route due to the motor and trans being underwhelming. I could only find a couple other 2015 Pros and they all were higher mileage (40-50K) asking more than $35K. These trucks are hard to come by but you can also build a similar used truck for less than $35K. Because it has the TRD supercharger already installed, I'd say $35K isn't unreasonable if it has been well-maintained, but I would try to get it closer to $30K. I have no regrets paying $33K for my used 2015 Pro...I love this truck!

Did you use their single AAL or the 3 leaf progressive one?

I think about it sometimes when I pull up behind a sedan and I can see my lights bouncing off their side mirror into their face. But then I get home and forget.

Same here, especially with the bro lean I have going on is bad. I keep getting the signal to turn my low beans on. Don't want to mess with them until I add the aal, if need it.

Yeah me too. It doesn’t help that a lot of cars are just low these days out of the factory.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
I would say around 30k would be ideal. And about 35k would be a little high, but not terrible.

If he likes the truck how it is and wants it, anywhere below 35k would be good.

I would say offer 30 and try to meet at 32 or 33.
