Okay, I have to ask... What is this? Searched the Lock'er Down site, that part # is not to be found.

edit: Woops, there it is. It says it's a "console safe", as in center console between the seats.

    edit again: Very nice, BTW.

I think the Lock'er down is just a safe that is installed in the center console. While the Tailgate got some nice lettering. I think they are two separate modifications.

I understand now, thanks. My only excuse is that it's still early here and I'm not fully caffeinated.

Blew passenger LCA ball joint. At dealer getting the passenger LCA replaced b/c, according to Toyota, ball joint is unserviceable. Although Moog sells one, the LCA has to come off - probably easier for them just to replace the whole LCA.

Test drove a Tundra while I waited. Meh,not impressed. I’ll take my OVTuned Taco any day of the week.

And I forgot...brown also offers me good quality toilet paper...
I hear so much about these and mine came with the OEM cover, is this considered a hard tri-fold? I love the flush look! that's the one thing about the OEM I didn't like, that it protrudes above the bed frame about an inch. How does it hold under water whether driving or parked? does it leak? even slightly? Because the OEM certainly does! I am now interested haha!

Holy McFly! How much was that roll bar, and how much did it cost to install? It looks like it's welded, so pretty legit! Link please!

I just want to be done.
Been off the forum for some time but haven’t stopped modding the taco. Just cause it’ll be picture overload I’ll post the most recents of her.

Also hit 10k so I went and got her clay barred and waxed. Got most of the scratchs off and she’s back to looking like a mall crawler.

Loving this truck more and more everyday.

    Done
-K&N CAI. Has such a better sound and honestly feels a little quicker.
    -redline hood struts
    -CMC
    -sway bar delete
    -stickers in the bed galor
    -yeti bottle opener
    -rear bumper caps replaced

    Ordered
-pelfreybilt front bumper w/ center hoop
    -pelfreybilt slider w/ kick out
    -retro fit headlights
    -gogetagrip.come shifter

No worries...I’ve got lots of notes in my build thread as follows, get questions on it a lot.

    • Roll-bar: I designed (a 'sweet roll bar') to be mounted into the the factory OEM bed rail system with no drilling. I worked with Sterling Equipment to fabricate and ship, they did a fantastic job and offer other styles/customization. This was built to order so it takes time but totally worth it! Let Wade/Brenda know I sent you!

      The key mods I spec'd:
      • made it fit into the bed rail system so again no drilling to install this was a key goal as bed rail rust is hard to fix
      • only one center post between the two top rails so I could install my lights in any spread I liked
      • no side panels for a more open look
      • I had them carefully taper the bed rail mounting plates to match the tapered profile of the truck...notice how it follows the line of the bed rail evenly and has rounded corners and a front notch for more forward install
      • angles match cab, and it is slightly tall to give the lights better clearance but still look clean
      • you may want to provide the center of mounting hole distance from the top of your bed rail protectors to the center of bed rail system to align the mount holes or drill and paint them yourself
