Big thanks to everyone on Tacoma World for helping me get my truck to where it is today. I did not know a thing about trucks 2 months ago. You guys rock.

I plan to do a full suspension upgrade after my warranty is up, so I'll be rolling like this for a while.

I wasn't sure if I needed hubcentric rings when I got them installed yesterday. So I talked to Chuck from Showstoppers today and he says the centerbore is specified for Toyota's so you won't need them. I rode on the wheels all day yesterday and today and did not feel any vibrations. So all seems good, but I know what you mean. I have Volk wheels on my other car and they do require hubcentric rings. Some other guys in another thread advised that as long as you had tapered lug nuts you should be good too. I'm running Muteki SR48 lug nuts that I also purchased from Showstoppers.

First time truck owner and just got the keys to my first super white Tacoma '18 OR 4x4!!!
Only got the Prem & tech pkg add on (leather seats, dual climate, heat seats moonroof, jbl, etc).
Had to be ordered but was worth the wait! Only had 5 miles!!
Using truck for occasional hauling of crap (water haters,a/c,washer,dryer,etc) and mainly camping and more camping. Planning on taking her out to Big Bend and go on the dirt roads very very soon, and maybe Galveston beach. Going to be my daily driver with a commute to work at 9miles @ 15mins each way.

Any advice for a first time truck owner will be more than appreciated!

If you don't like being broke.

All jokes aside, welcome and congratulations on the Taco.

By the way - old skid and old fogs are available if anyone wants to buy. I prefer local, so anyone in Portland looking for these feel free to PM me.

    DIY Fabricobbler.

What brand is your bug deflector?

Looks like it fits better than the Auto Ventshade brand that I recently tried. That thing was warped one side, and when closing the hood it put a ding in the grill shroud (if that is what it is called).

It’s the AVS Aeroskin II. Uses 3M tape to adhere to the hood.
