    Hey folks!

Just introducing myself. I’ve been lurking for a bit while I finalized my decision to buy a Tacoma. I run a hog farm and am in the process of opening a butcher shop in Portland, OR. I needed a truck for commuting and getting around Portland so I could leave my big truck with my farm crew. I’m already in love with it.

I definitely want to do some mods on it. Not sure if I’ll lll lift it, I’m mostly interested in HP and on-road performance, but then why have a 4x4 if you’re not gonna tear it up a little. We’ll just see, I guess.

Anyway I look forward to getting to know y’all and seeing all the rad things you do with your trucks!

    Cheers!

Not much gonna happen there. And certainly not at an effective $/HP ratio.

My vote is enjoy what you have!

    Welcome.

Well I already am, Haha. And tbh more HP might just get me in trouble anyway . I’ll probabky still change out the exhaust at some point for a little more sound, and more air never hurts.

Maybe on the horizon, haha. Not exactly in the budget, but I can always dream.

Just realize that's really all you'll get. Sound.

You already have a CAI. Aftermarket bits will set you back some decent change and like the exhaust, just add noise. And even lower power if they lose the CAI function, as many do.

For both areas Toyota makes TRD bits. They look pretty and sound nicer than most aftermarket stuff, but they still aren't power adders.

Didn’t realize it already had CAI. Well if it ain’t broke...

I obviously have a lot to learn about my truck before I go messing with it. Good thing I’m out of $$$, lol.
