So with all this talk about Data mining on Social media are we being data mined here on TW?

 

At least a little bit. Just the Amazon list at the bottom of the page could be considered data mining/targeted marketing. I don’t really see too much value for most companies that would be interested in the data here Unless it was super cheap but then I don’t see much value in Bob selling it super cheap. Especially considering a lot of people on here would be pissed if there data was being sold.

I also have never seen anything warning us that our data is being used so I doubt it is.

Edit: one thing to keep in mind is that the forum is open to all internet users for the most part. Any information you post on here publicly is up for grabs. I could pretty easily write up some code to pull all the public data from TW and start analyzing it and I’m not a software developer. I know people who probably have code ready to go to pull the data if I gave them a url

I've had a 78 and an 80 with the 304 V8 and also an 83 and 84 with the 258 I6. The 83 was aftermarket fuel injected and ran like a champ.

 

I think I went to that one last year with some people. It's a hike from my place.

There's a place across the Nice Bridge in MD that I pass every day on the way to/from work, but I've never stopped at it.

 

I just rent. I’m probably gonna get a mask cause the rentals suck. If I go enough I might get my own stuff though. We will see how long this trend lasts

Oh, nothing at all. But that's not a TRD OR. Unless he took off all of the options and put the stock options on. Rims are wrong, suspension too. I have custom stickers as well.
