    Same set of attachment bolts as the ones that bolt on the outside - and the 1.0 inch thick 6061 T-6 aluminum bar is the same strength as 1.0 thick mild steel. So "pull out is about 60,000 lbs.

    Thats all fine and dandy, but the piece the that aluminum is attached to is hardly close to that stout.

    I suppose that is the whole point right? The whole front of the frame is box welded out of skinny little pieces of sheetmetal ...... The next set, I'm going to make out of 1-1/4 thick T-6 (just fits in a 3/4 shackle) and make it an even closer fit back in there, filling the entire boxed opening. That way the sheet metal can't collapse and all of the fasteners would have to shear off to get it out. Alignment of the direction of pull is "whatever" due to the fact you just never know how things will line up in the real world.
