285/75/16 on stock OR suspension and 0 offset Method NV’s

I might do a 6112/5160 combo.

But to be honest, if I could get away with running 33s with stock suspension, Id leave it like that. Im pretty pleased with the stock shocks so far.

 

I could be wrong, but I think the 0 offset is an improvement over my 10mm offset.

 

Its not. The more neg the offset, the more the wheels poke out. More poke, more contact with liners/cab mount.

Only thing it helps is preventing UCA rub.

 

Ahh, I knew the lower offset, the more wheel poke out. But for some reason that led me to believe the run would be less of an issue. I guess I never really thought that hard about it!

 

I still think you should be OK for a little bit, as long as you got a lift coming soon.

 

for what its worth i have a 0 offset 17x8 wheel with a 285 70 17.
Didn't realize my lift was set up as 1" because the fox comes set for 2" lift for 2nd gen and 1" lift for 3rd gen. Didn't adjust it for more lift on 3rd gen.

So with 1" lift when I first put on the wheels I couldn't even turn as I was hitting pinch weld.
After beating pinch weld I was hitting the fender and bodymount to the point I would not have been able to even turn.

So for 0 offset with 4.5" back spacing with no lift and 285 you will be hitting and rubbing a lot if you aren't cutting.

Hell I have the 2" lift and still rubbing. But my alignment didn't turn out the greatest. THey tried to get as much caster as possible but could only get 3.4 degrees which is why I am still having rubbing issues.
