Foxwing awning & annex GB - Interest Gauge - Round 3

I’m planning a tubing quick disconnect with a removable extension and rising piece. So you’ll unpin the whole thing once arrived. Pull it off the truck. Put in a raiser and extension from the truck. Then put the awning in that.

I hate the fact they lean on the body. The RTT Annex does the same and I can’t stand it.

 

That's the same thing I was thinking. Just make the extender thick enough so it doesn't stress or bend too much while you're setting up.

 

So the manufacturer does have the squared style of awning. Let me know who would be interested in that style so I can see what the pricing will be for it. If you notice, the awning that comes off of the vehicle is a square shape instead of the triangle shape.

Trying to get some numbers from the crowd to present to the manufacturer. I wouldn't think it'll be too much more. I'll ask them tonight regardless and update the thread.

I might have to sell the other one then to cover for this one then add the annex.

Alright everybody, manufacturer notified me that they have implemented a 10% price increase for 2018. This brings the cost of the standard size foxwing awning and annex to $300 each. They do have the square style awning and annex available. The price for the awning and annex is $340 each. This is a 2 meter awning. They do have a 2.5 meter option as well. Let me know if you guys are still interested at these price points. I have submitted a "request for quote" from all awning manufacturers for our specifications. Keep in mind, we may save a few dollars going with someone else, but we won't know the quality. One thing is for certain with this manufacturer, that's the quality of their products.

2 meter
Driver side

Sad to hear the price increase, but it's worth it if I can get it in square.

I'm still in, can you update me to Tan/Sand, square? I like that look better than the grey. That applies for both the annex and awning.

Edit: Oh, and what is the added cost for the larger awning+annex @SoCalTacos ?

 

Do you have the color samples somewhere was trying to find them in other thread, I would do the square as well

 

The larger 2.5 meter is $50 more. Just keep in mind that the larger size costs A LOT more to ship to you. Last one I shipped was around $100 more than the standard 2 meter size. It's a UPS thing....the length puts it into another, more expensive shipping tier.
I'll put you down for the standard size, square style, in sand color unless you tell me otherwise.
