I assume when people get a tune then disappear things must be going well

I figured by now you'd have a list compiled of users, trucks, mods, ecu and the tune they are running

I've been slowly building my 2T3 cult following, sending out the map to those who choose to join my righteous cause of improved drivability

 

It was either @lapoltba or @nxcess that posted some initial thoughts last night on the 2T3 I gave them. Can't find it now though, it's already buried lol oh well

 

I'm on the Ziggy tune - 2t3. Its been solid so far. I think I've got about 500 miles on the tune so far and I'll probably be over 1000 by next weekend.

I basically ran 1.03b/c until they annoyed me or started having issues. 1.03 never gave me any issues and the test tune is definitely a further refinement of 1.03. Fuel economy also seems to have improved with the test tune.

 

is there patches yet for the cult? I want a patch

I'd go for some OVtune patches and/or stickers.. or shwag.

 

Check to see if you can drive the truck in 1st gear @ 1000 RPM. Mine bucked like a wild bull. It sucked when I was stuck in grid locked traffic.

 

I would go for a patch and sticker. If only patches would stick to my damn headliner. I rub them in there as hard as I can and when they do stay, they still all fall down as soon as I hit the smallest bump

 

I can crawl at 500 rpm on the test tune super smooth. On previous tunes (b&c) I could not, it was exactly as you described.

I ask because there's 3 or 4 people with 04B11 wanting to try a test tune, if someone will give it to them

 

I LOVE the smooth Test Tune 2 but the low end has takin a hit. I can not lug around in 2nd like I could on 103b. I have to floor it in 2nd to get it to move. 103b it was a light throttle and it picked up fast.

I mentioned the power loss to Mat and sent him a log of a pull I did on the test tune. that the power will be back in the official release. Although I don't feel I need to floor it in 2nd to get it going, it's definitely off. Then again, different ECU/file etc.
