What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Am I going blind or is there really no dedicated thread for the Silver Sky thread for the 3rd gen?

 

I hear ya'. I plan on keeping most of the chrome on my '17 Sport, but only here and there and evenly distributed. The chrome grill is gone, replaced by gloss black mesh, but still with the chrome surround. The "Ultimate" replacement mirror turn signals were interesting, but they were black and the chrome-bottomed mirrors will stay. ...and so forth. I may change my mind over time.

The "blacked-out" look is fine, but when you start seeing it everywhere...

There's a Jeep 4-door Rubicon that I used to pass every day on my way to work. Black everything. Even on dark, snowy winter mornings the guy would not turn on his headlights (would ruin the "The Look", I guess) and rode with just the parking lights on (which is illegal here). Even the parking lights had been replaced with darker amber bulbs or lenses, not sure which.

Finally had my TRD wheels put on after hopefully the last snow in NJ. OEM Toyo tires for now. I want to sell the Sport wheels with lug nuts locally. PM me with an offer if interested.
