Oh $h*t. Now I am glad I didn't buy it. I just loved the color and options, not worth with the extra years of payments

Yes, I'd buy the exact same truck. I do miss my old Wrangler TJ on occasion, though.

Heck yeah I’d buy this thing again. Mine is a 2018 TRD OR DCSB, with the tech package. The only thing I MIGHT do different is get an sr5 and use the rest of the cash for mods. Otherwise I’ve been over the top happy with my truck.

I will say. I did eyeball the new jeeps lol.

Yes I would buy again but with a MT instead of my AT. It's not that i mind the AT (the wife can drive too, when needed) I just miss rowing my own gears. Other than that, this is my first truck (always been a car guy) and I am very happy with it.

Of course I would buy this truck again. I wouldn't have bought it in the first place if I didn't want it.
No, I wouldn't pay additional for a supercharger. This truck has plenty of power for what it is.... a truck. If I want something faster or more powerful i would buy it.
Now, who in the hell buys based on looks alone?
    1. Durability and reliability
    2. Intended use
    3. Comfort
    4. Efficiency
    5. Looks
    Notice looks are last.

No mods are essential as you say above. If you mod, it's because you want to mod, not because it's essential to the truck's operation.
Actually, the truck is going to be the most reliable and durable with zero mods. Tires, decals and such are excluded. This is fact.

Lastly, what you read on this forum is not always true. When you read a post, remember that you are only getting one side of the story, the customers. If Toyota or a dealer could post THEIR side of the story, the story would probably be much different. Take what you read with a grain of salt. Good luck!

I actually have this chance. 2016 got totaled and will be taking delivery of a 2018 this week.

I won't add all of the same mods, but will be doing a similar modest build

Yes. I probably would pick a color other than black if I had the choice though.

I've had more problems with this truck in 20,000km then I did with my GM in 200,000km

Yup but it seems to me one needs to own the vehicle for more than a couple of months before answering that question.

How does that work with insurance? Do you send your receipts to them and they refund you money for add ons, or are they all just total losses?
