I have a 2008 Toyota Tacoma. I lifted the front a few years back. I thought it was a 2" lift. However, I measure it to be only 1.5 actual metal. I completed the rear spring recall and now want to lift the rear to level the truck because it sits lower than the front. Question. If I lift the rear 1.5" will I need to replace the shocks?

Spacer lifts lift twice the measurement of the block

Measure from the center of your wheel to the fender edge and post your measurement

Just buy front Bilstein 5100 shocks and set them at 1.5, it'll be level with the TSB springs and ride much better than spacers will.

Thanks...Good idea on the front shocks... But I'm looking to get less involved and just lift the rear. From center of wheel to fender edge--- front= 21.5", rear= 20.5" So... what size spacer in rear would bring it to just above level?

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.

A spacer in the front lifts almost twice its size, as in a 1.5 spacer is about 2.5-3 in lift

A spacer (block) in the back lifts exactly its size, as in a 1 inch block will level you according to your measurement.

I would say get a 1.5 inch add a leaf of your choice
