It sucks, I’m leaning towards that now... I just want to be sure of what it is. It’s so faint, I don’t know if it’s just in my head or maybe my tires. I think I’m going to let it go a little while longer and see if it gets any worse

I lifted mine with 5100s at 1.75 and 2.5, before I had the 887s, and had the slight vibe from the needle bearing. Bought the ECGS bushing right away, cheap brand new. ECGS bushing is an easy swap too if you use their tool to pull the original needle bearing out. Completely fixed the slight vibe I had.

The driveline vibration was a different story lol....had to go Tom Woods one piece on that to get the truck back to normal

Letting it "get any worse", could end up scribing the needle bearing marks into your CV shaft. Then when you do the bushing swap you'll need a new CV shaft more than likely. Do the ECGS bushing and have a peace of mind

Ugh. I’ve re done my suspension 3 times now getting it to where I want it lol. I’m dreading this... does the truck need an alignment after?

It sounds like he can't even tell what the vibes are from. He could very well be feeling drive line vibes now that the TSB fixed the needle bearing.

OP, I would try all the usual troubleshooting steps for the needle bearing and see if you get anywhere.

Nah, I’ve fixed the driveline vibes awhile ago, and I had the needle bearing vibes bad awhile back, I had the dealership replace it under warranty, it just feels like they’re coming back now. Maybe the needle bearing is wearing out. But they’re extremely faint. Same intermittent hum around the 30-35 mph mark

It's possible it's the OEM bearing going bad again. I wonder of a dealer would even do the TSB twice on the same truck :notsure:

What a pain... I don’t think I’ll even bother with the dealer again. I’ll just do the ecgs bushing call it a day... unless I can guilt the dealer into installing it for me instead of another bearing...

I hear ya, but if they reqplce it for free and under warranty it's not terrible to let them keep doing it. But I also get just wanting to have fixed for good.

Just looking to clarify some stuff guys.
I'm going with the 5100's and the 887. I got a third gen so this will give me 2" of lift?

    Also anyone have 265/70/18?

Beauty truck man! I'm leaning towards the same setup. I'm not sure which add a leaf to go with yet. Why did you choose the Icon 1.5 progressive leaf? Also could you fit 18's with the 70 sidewall??

do you only need the spacers because of the width?
Would it if fit if it was 265?

    Some of the things...
Ya I had the Wheelers 3 leaf with stock length 5100s. Id recommend them again in a heartbeat especially for the cost.
