Honestly I'd feel bad selling them to anyone...they've got about 20k hard miles on them lol. They still work like they should but I don't know how much life is left in 'em.

Oh and I don't know if I mentioned it in here but I passed the CA smog test last weekend! Was a HUGE stressor for me with the issues I've been having with my cats lately...but now I've got 2 more worry free years :bananadance:

Picked up an Avid bed rack from a member out in Arizona...had it TW expressed to Riverside. Awesome group of guys those AZ TW members.

Love the rack, I can't get enough of it. I stare at it every time I go to/away from my truck, lol. I sold my Softtopper for cheap to a loving home, mounted the spare in the bed rack and will eventually get an RTT like all the other cool kids out there. First, I'll need to upgrade my leaf springs from the 3 leaf AALs I've got in there now.

Thanks! I can't believe it myself sometimes, lol. I looked for awhile and was ready to settle on something closer to 100k, then this popped up in my feed.

Of course nowadays she looks like she's got quite a few more miles on her from all the trips and adventures we've been on, but that was always the main plan :)

Went up to Big Bear again this past weekend to play around in the snow, we've had a pretty dry winter here but finally got some rain/snow up in the mountains.

Girlfriend and I rented a cabin by the lake for our 1 year anniversary, I proposed to her the morning before we went out wheeling and she said yes :humble:

Ran Gold Mountain backwards (going down) thinking it would be easier than going up, since we were solo and I don't have a whole lot of experience wheeling in the snow. Turns out, Gold Mountain is a bitch to do going down and in some ways it was harder than trying to climb it. Ended up crushing my tail pipe coming down one of the big, rocky shelves...rerouting my exhaust has just made it to the top of my list of mods, lol.

nice build man looks like u have alot of fun with the truck, was just wondering how u like the ride of the kings and have u had to preload them at all to hold the weight of the skids?

    Thanks!

The Kings are on 600lb coils which hold the weight of the Budbilt skids just fine, previously I had 881 coils which were only rated at 500lb and would've sagged with the skid weight, no doubt.

I did have quite a bit of preload on the Kings though to achieve 3" of lift in the front, which made them ride pretty harsh...and my CV angles were too severe. I recently lowered them down to about 2.25" of lift and they're much better now.

Like this build! Keep it up! You ever have any issues with roof rack bolts leaking?

Nope, surprisingly...I was really worried about that when I first installed it but I put quite a bit of silicone in the holes around the well nuts, and then I put a strip of silicone around the mounts that sit on the roof as well. Been about a year and a half and no leaks, and we had quite a bit of rain here in SoCal last year after I installed it.

Hey man, love the build! Couple questions for you. Are your Kings extended travel or not? Did you remove you sway bar and if you did, did you notice a big difference? Thanks!

Thanks! Yessir they are, and I did remove my sway bar when I did the install...haven't hardly noticed it since. There's a tiny bit more body roll than there was before, but nothing I'd be afraid of. I drive my truck every where every day and haven't had an issue without the sway bar, the 600# coils on the Kings do a great job of compensating for it.
