You guys probably hate me since I always have quesions. But 2002 sr5 sequoia 250k miles what would you pay for it? Well taken care of no body damage clean interior minus drivers seat. I have a customer selling it. Was looking for a 4runner but with a sequoia I'll have a little more room for passengers. Miles are all highway as the owner drives from la to San Fran every weekend. She' asking 2500 I think it's a good deal but going to offer 2k think it's worth it with the miles at 250000? Then I can tow my Tacoma to the desert to have fun.

 

For $2500 I'd be all over it. Solid vehicles as long as it hasn't been to the east coast, they have the same frame issues all toyotas from that time had.

Its at my mechanics right now and he told me it's for sale soon once she smogs it. I test drove it and it ran and shifted good. He's going to call her tomorrow and see if she will bite on 2k since she was asking 2500 it's not even on the market yet. Maybe I can score on it.

 

This helps me a ton. My axle has definitely moved forward with the OME. I cant afford new leafs right now as i had jumped through a previous rabit hole. Question is, will allpro still be accurate with these relocation brackets since they seem to be getting multiple complaints about not having their mounts on bumpers etc line up correctly. Its a simple part, but on a pretty important part of the truck. This is why I have been reluctant to get them and have trimmed a bit instead to clear the front.

 

It doesn't seem like it would a great choice for towing with a 6500 lb rating. Other than that, looks to be worth the money.

Depending upon the weight of the trailer and your rig, you would be at the upper limit at the very least. Plus, you would be doing it with a drivetrain with 250K on it.

It would not be able to safely tow mine, that's for sure. We did once to Moab on an 18' trailer. The combo weighed in at ~8,000 pounds.

My dad's 2nd gen doesn't like towing my 1st gen.

 

Aren't Sequoias independent rear suspension anyway? Not usually a good recipe for a tow vehicle.

It will tow your first gen just fine.
Here is my 2006 Tundra, which is a similar platform to your Sequoia, and the Sequoia is a bit heavier. I towed this 2nd gen Tacoma on a trailer with no problem.
