Looking to see what you guys are running thread wise with your Icon coil overs.

I installed mine as they came from icon. But my rake was really bad. I am sure due to the Dakar heavy leafs I am running in the back. I right away adjusted the coil overs to bring up the front.

    Current settings on them
    - Driver side 2.13 of threads (max per Icon)

-Passanger side 1 3/4 of threads

With the above I still have a good 3/4 inch of taco lean WITHOUT driver...

Looking to see what you guys are running thread wise and how your ride was effected. Anybody go past 2.13 of threads?

I was going to. But I heard the 700lb springs make it really harsh if your not running a ton of weight up front. The 700lb spring is a issue I would like to get more feedback on as well. Anybody using those without a heavy steel bumper?

I went from the icon 650s to 700s but I have an ARB bar. Hub to fender is 23.5” just because you add a longer/heavier spring doesn’t mean that you can lift it more without compromising shock travel...

from the picture you posted it looks like a nice stance. If you think it’s too high in the rear, either add some weight or remove a leaf.

I had my 650 icons maxed out on preload to achieve the desired lift. I switched to Kings 700 pound springs. I do have a bumper and full skids to weight ty front down, but you can run no preload and probably achieve the lift and maintain ride comfort that you want.

One more option is distribute the weight better. Place the battery on the passsnger side to take weight off drivers side.
