    Tried that lactation for my ham antenna buy the swr sucked only place it was great was the front bumper but thought it looked goofy. Looking at trying a different antenna. Currently have a predator 102 whip, external coil.

    Yea I should have time to diddle it with the swr meter this week some time. :cookiemonster:

    Just want it to be clear reception, not to worried about distance.

    Talked to a few radio guys around me I might not be able to run a single antenna set up on the tacoma for 3 radios we think it's the composite box throwing things into wack

    Maybe I'm missing something, but I have a 42" on the roof mounted to my Prinsu and have great SWR as do many others. 3 radios on a single antenna is kinda screwy though, at least from what I know which admittedly is not a lot.
