    Say goodbye to the following:

    Ignorance
    Doing things wrong
    MPGs
Having more than $0.xx in the bank account
Actual meals (hello hard boiled eggs and ramen)
    Free time
    Clean nails
    Wife
    Kids
    Sanity
Slow and less than fun to drive Tacoma.

MPGs - what is that? Lifetime AVG 11.5 now

Actual meals (hello hard boiled eggs and ramen) - better than govt food
Free time- worked 12hrd on 12hrs off since sept 7th without a day off already
    Clean nails- keep them cut
Wife- already ditched the first one see "doing things wrong"
Kids- I need to see my kids more, they love trucks though
    Sanity- diagnosed in 2011
Slow and less than fun to drive Tacoma.i have a 17 auto too :)

You may be able to use the (4) stock throttle body bolts (they may be the right length) and only have to buy (4). I couldn’t find my stock ones at the time.

You may also choose to just cap off or loop the coolant lines on the thermostat outlet and not run any coolant to the throttle body. It’s a mod that I found with a quick google that many have done for a lot of different cars. Don’t know how it will affect things on a Taco.

For the gasket material, I used this:

Exactly what I was saying at the time. Went to two different hardware stores because the first one only had 7 in stock.

Yep, plus the ones I was after were stainless. Fastenal was closed because it was Sunday. Found 7 at Ace hardware and the remaining one at Sears hardware.

Both of those stores that I avoid at all costs, unless I have no choice. Lol

Sky high prices, ace always has someone to help, sears is deserted and they sold out Craftsman to china as well.

I would understand moving manufacturing if they could no longer maintain a profit, or raising prices to maintain a profit. Those bastards kept the USA made tools prices, and under-handedly started selling chinese tools. Not only did they say F you to every customer for over 100 years with a "lifetime" warranty, they were sneaky about it.

If I am going to buy chonese tools (and I do, because good tools come in all flavors) I am going to pay chinese tool prices. Harbor freght.

Totally off topic, but SK, Proto, Wright and Williams got a lot more of my money after that.

Snap-off, in some categories makes the best tools. However in all categories they charge the most ridiculous premiums. I do not buy much, the biggest reason being that the "lifetime" warranty with them should be viewed as a tool upgrade, or prorated program because you can almost never just get one replaced.

In an odd twist, I have a half dozen broken pry bars from that damn tool truck and I have yet to break one from HF. Go figure.

I love tools, other than guns and old Toyota's that is my biggest hobby. Import, Domestic, Chinese trash I always collect try and use them.

Browsing earlier, I found 2 pics one with everything pulled when I installed the blower on my truck, and the other some time after that as it sits today.

The only issue I have had other than running pig rich, is the intercooler leaks at the little plastic tank. I top it off, and once I ran out of Toyota Pink crap (21 bucks a gallon) I started usong regular old prestoneFB_IMG_1495152697930.jpg 20170606_123253.jpg

Well, thanks for the heads up. I’ll order them so I’m ready to go when I do it.

How did you extend the hoses? Unions?

After playing musical throttle bodies I decided just to loop my tb coolant lines. I did it a month or so ago. No issues yet. I figure the sc will xfer enough heat to the tb yo not worry about ice formation.
