I’m going to try and figure out how I can fix it or if i can. I checked the track and it is tight, but like you it drives me bonkers.

I went with the Leer 100XR with the removable front slider.

I really debated getting the Thule rails, in case I ever decide to get a RTT. But I decided my normal MSR ground tent is more convenient lol

Excellent cover, I have one as well. No complaints. Very easy install. Several good videos on YouTube. IMO best bang for the $$.
Diamondback was my first choice but out of my price range. For me the MX4 was the next best thing.

That looks like my first 2017 Limited, rear ended at a red light...totaled at ~12,000 miles...it gets the frame between the rear tires and tailgate, and also bends it where the seam is at the cab and bed...

    Any chance
Thanks Bud. Thinking of going aftermarket myself. Might just derp them until then. Researching bumpers now. Direct bolt on, no alterations to the sheet metal. In the end it all comes down to cash on hand.
At the moment I have a PBR in one hand and some chump change in the other. It'll be a while yet.

    That sucks !

    Hope she’s okay.

Yes they are very much awesome. I almost had my dealership add one to my truck at the time I bought it. Just not sure if I was going to addd a toolbox, though.

Sweet retractable covers. The ones I was looking at ran $1,200.

I hear ya on the fistful of dollars and a cold brew in the other hand. :)

My fistful is comprised of only small bills.....so I’m familiar with long times between mods.

Mounted a UWS Low Profile Tool Box.
Highly recommend using the Dee Zee J-Hooks instead of the J-Hooks supplied with the tool box, which were too small to be used on my 3rd Gen anyway.

Installed/Mounted a T-Track and Ram Mount on the dash a while back.
Just went utilitarian, wasn't really worried about aesthetics.
