If the latter date is a total no-go, then why not line up the first date in the event it wins (and go anyway if not).

PS I will put 7-10th on my calendar in the event I can make June happen.

Ripped off all four mudflaps. Scratches all down both sides 6112’s up front on 3rd notch 5100’s in back with Toytech 1” block Skids & sliders from SOS Concepts I got rid of the 1” block and put on Wheelers 1 1/2” progressive AAL. SPC UCA. Be sure your standing on the drivers side when reading the instructions! I swapped sides so many times that I can swap UCA’s in 15 minutes. I put in the 3/4” spacer to eliminate the Taco Lean, and just got my 4th alignment. Traded the OEM rims for 17” Sport rims and a bora bora 1” spacer. I got my Firestone 285/70/17 MT2’s. Pelfreybilt gas tank skid and hi-lift jack should be here Friday. Looking at bumpers, but I think they will wait for next year. So far I’m happy with my build. I’ve done it all myself, leading to a lot of cussing and frustration, but it’s all mine.
I think I might go. I seriously wanna see some of that “bluegrass” in person.

Actually might take the family to this one and do the local paved roads while they do the fun stuff.

Maybe have a beer with them when they get back from the fun stuff.

I invited the better half,, not expecting a second thought,,, but it’s been asking too many questions. Sooooo, I might’ve painted myself into a corner.

    I know it’s chickenshit but I don’t care.

I'm sure you can ride along with someone. There's usually a fair number of empty seats.

Like said before, we go there more than once a year. There will be several opportunities to go, usually with less planning time than this meet, though.

Yeah I know I didn’t get mud tires didn’t want any, they are more a hybrid. No I never got stuck at LBL just needed some better tread. Went to MO this past weekend and the tires were great on all kinds of terrain plus they gave me an extra inch of lift! Killed my gas mileage down though.

It wouldn't be a meet thread without 95% of the pages being full of dumb shit that has nothing to do with the meet.

    Also yes.

What I mean, is that I'm picking a date for Rush and that's that. It was a cluster last year picking a weekend. Same as here. Provided the person has the time available, any longer than 4-6 weeks away to plan for a day off from any employer or other obligation is more than sufficient, in my opinion.

This pretty much echoes the sentiment of something I posted in here earlier. It's fucking 2 months out, if you pick a weekend, people who really want to go will find a way to go. If they can't go, tough shit. That's part of the benefit of being the person organizing the meet, you pick a date that you want, and others either work around it or don't.

Also @Breezy for all your 'unwatching' I see you still creeping in the users viewing thread :anonymous:
