    there are different for mounts depending on if you have a 15mm thru vs 9mm QR

    the gist of it is, fork mounts rely on different axle sizes. newer and more serious mountain bikes run a standard 15mm thru. older bikes run 9mm quick release. becuase they are fork mounts, wheel sizes don't really matter since that's not the mounting surface. regardless of that you have, they make adapters to go from 9mm fork mount to 15mm thru.

    it can get crazy. now there are new standards regarding boost, DH bike have always run 20mm thru, there's always something haha
